OPEN #2: ALMOST HERE, JUST THREE DAYS…
OPEN #3: THE SAVINGS ARE COMING, IN TWO DAYS…
OPEN #4: FEEL THE EXCITEMENT, TOMORROW…
OPEN #5: TODAY’S THE DAY.
BODY 1: … MAIN MESSAGE.
CLOSE 1-5: Repeat of countdown, call to action.

If you really want to make that one day sale something special, on the day of the sale, run hourly commercials:

(between 8-9 AM) THE SALE STARTS TODAY AT NINE.
(9-10 AM) THE SALE IS ON! GET TO…
(10-11 AM) FROM 11 AND NOON ONLY, SAVE 50 PERCENT ON…
(11-NOON) BETWEEN NOON AND ONE, GET A FREE GIFT CARD….

Using the modular approach can create excitement, add variety to the commercials, get the listener’s attention and impress clients.
