Because of the success Hudson Ford has seen, they added stations and renewed. The comments always comes back to John’s copy which is interesting, fresh, and different.

Abbie Snell, iHeartMedia

John has helped put a much better commercial “product” on the air. Our ads are so much better than our competitors. He is easy to work with and can generally turn around copy so quickly. I don’t know what I’d do without JJ!!

Sue Thompson, iHeartMedia

Your work on Everest Men’s Health got us over 100K in new business. Dr. Davis says clients always comment on the spots when they call.

Here are just a few testimonials from some of the people I’ve worked with:

Skilled at Cutting to the Core

John is a guy who knows the ins and outs of writing a screenplay. From formatting to story structure, he is skilled at cutting to the core of what a script needs and articulating those needs to the writer. He knows what it takes for a screenplay to make the leap from rough draft to a finished script that will command attention.

An ailing script’s best friend

It’s difficult to write a really good script. To re-write until a good script is great is even harder. John Jansen is one of the most talented guides to the re-writing process. He’ll help you bring your script to that ‘next level’. He’s an ailing script’s best friend.

David Grant, screenwriter

Takes a personal interest in his client’s dreams

John Jansen represents the epitome of a professional who takes a personal interest in his client’s dreams. Without his guidance and consultation, I would have humiliated myself, thinking that I wrote a great script, while all I had written was just a story.

Philip Jegede,
Executive Producer/Writer American Girl

Sees the big picture and smallest details

John is always the first person I turn to to get insight into my screenplays. His ability to see the big picture and the smallest details in story, structure, character, and dialogue have made my scripts, and my writing, better and stronger. Because of John’s constructive analysis, my most recent script, The Cursed (in collaboration with Jeffrey Reddick, creator of the Final Destination franchise) became more taut and terrifying. I highly recommend John to anyone who wants to take their stories to the next level.

Nate Langford, screenwriter

He helped bring order to my chaos

John’s insights and expertise were extremely

valuable, especially as regards structure. He helped bring order to my chaos.

John’s the Real Deal

John Jansen’s script notes were a huge help on the last four features I directed. His insightful perspective helped me find and solve problems before I started shooting, instead of doing painful surgery in post. He really gets the nuts and bolts of screenwriting, while also understanding the unique restrictions imposed by film production. John’s the real deal when it comes to screenwriting.

Ready for primetime

Before a script goes to my reps or an interested producer, I go to John Jansen. He boosts the script’s strengths, helps eliminate the flaws, and gets it ready for primetime. What more could you want from a talented script reader?

Aaron de Orive, screenwriter

His notes are the perfect companion

John’s that unusual mix of left-brain/right-brain. He’s able to see the big picture and laser focus on individual scenes and beats. His notes are the perfect companion for that next rewrite.
